Year 4 ‘Extraordinary Explorers: Breaking Boundaries’
On the new Year 4 topic launch day all of year 4 dressed up as explores and made junk models like, towers made out of newspaper, pasta and marshmallows. We also made vehicles out of junk. We had a great time making the towers. Later we went to the hall to do different activities like cross the river and over games.
After lunch we went outside with Rob and Megan the Outdoors Project leaders to try and start a fire with flint , steal and cotton wool. Two people set the cotton wool on fire, but others didn’t manage to make fire.
We had such a great time dressing up as explores and doing all the activities that we didn’t want to go home at the end of the day!
