The Waterfield School Breakfast Club caters for up to 30 children, from Reception to Year 6. There are three full time staff: Mrs Lindsay, Mrs Hanslow and Miss Cowley, as well as occasional volunteer helpers from the community. Every Friday is Story Day with a volunteer.

The Breakfast Club operates as follows:

    * 7.45am children arrive. A choice of activities to begin the day, such as games, writing, art etc
    * 7.50am hand washing.
    * 7.55-8am all children sit down at their place name with a drink, then choose cereal or toast to start, and yoghurt or fruit to finish
    * 8am gates locked
    * 8.20 teeth cleaning then continue playing inside or outside
    * 8.40 tidy up ready to start school
    * 8.50am children supervised to class


Older children help the younger children with hand washing, getting breakfast and cleaning teeth. Children sit in mixed ages places rotated daily. Breakfast includes a choice of cereal, as well as the occasional choice of pancakes, muffins, crumpets,smoothes, beans/cheese on toast or porridge. Toast is served with jams, marmalade, honey & marmite. Drinks include apple juice, orange juice, milk or water.
